On September 27, the "Mouthwash Standards and Regulations Seminar," organized by the China Oral Cleaning and Care Products Industry Association, was successfully held in Zhangzhou, Fujian. This grand event brought together over 30 leaders from industry associations, experts and scholars from research institutions, authoritative representatives from medical organizations, and elite professionals from numerous leading enterprises in the daily chemical sector. Gathering under one roof, the participants aimed to engage in in-depth discussions and actively promote the standardization and green transformation of the mouthwash industry. As an expert member unit of the Association’s Standards Committee, Fujian Azalli Daily Chemicals Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the meeting and participated in the discussions regarding the relevant standards.
The core agenda of the seminar closely aligned with the pulse of the industry, focusing on three key directions: First, a meticulous refinement of the preliminary drafts for ten group standards regarding "Mouthwash Efficacy Evaluation," with the goal of establishing a scientific and rigorous standards system that serves as a solid safeguard for the market access and quality assessment of mouthwash products; Second, a comprehensive review of the current landscape of standards and regulations within the mouthwash industry, analyzing their effectiveness and the challenges encountered in practical application, thereby providing a clear direction for the continuous optimization and upgrading of these standards; Third, a forward-looking strategic approach to actively refine low-carbon and green standards and regulations—responding to the national call for ecological civilization construction—and guiding the mouthwash industry toward a more environmentally friendly and sustainable future.
The seminar commenced with an enthusiastic opening address by Mr. Xiang Jianqiang, Chairman of the China Oral Cleaning and Care Products Industry Association. He emphasized the importance and urgency of standardizing the production and business operations of mouthwash products, as well as the necessity of a green transformation, thereby setting the tone for the entire meeting. Subsequently, the seminar officially proceeded to the in-depth discussion phase regarding the preliminary drafts of the ten group standards for "Mouthwash Efficacy Evaluation."
Under the guidance of Chairman Xiang Jianqiang, Azalli’s R&D technical personnel and the attending guests engaged in deep and productive discussions concerning the scientific validity, rationality, and feasibility of the proposed standards. A central highlight of the meeting involved participants conducting a comprehensive review and in-depth interpretation of the "Current Landscape of Mouthwash Standards and Regulations." This initiative aimed to clearly define the status quo and identify existing gaps within current industry standards, thereby establishing a firm basis for their future improvement and enhancement. Subsequently, a presentation on standards and regulations related to low-carbon and green initiatives was delivered; this not only demonstrated the industry's proactive response to environmental protection but also signaled a future trajectory for mouthwash products toward greater eco-friendliness and sustainability.
