Join Hands to Provide Oral Care for Seniors During the Double Ninth Festival
To strengthen cooperation between the two Party branches and promote respect and care for the elderly, the Party Branch of Fujian Azalli Daily Chemical Co., Ltd. and the Party Branch of Zhangzhou Longwen District No. 2 Kindergarten jointly visited Wuxin Nursing Home on the afternoon of October 16.
Under the theme “Oral Care for Seniors, Warmth for the Double Ninth Festival,” the event combined oral health education, interactive Q&A and basic oral examinations to bring care and holiday wishes to the elderly residents.
Oral Health Education and Patient Guidance
The event began with opening remarks by a Party member teacher, who introduced the purpose and schedule of the activity and shared warm wishes for the Double Ninth Festival.
A Party member lecturer from Azalli then gave a talk on oral health for seniors. The presentation covered daily care for gum health, ways to prevent tooth loss, how to clean and care for removable dentures, and how diet affects oral health.
During the Q&A session, the elderly shared their oral health concerns and asked questions. The lecturer, dental professionals and Party member teachers worked together to provide clear and practical answers.
Azalli also introduced its range of oral care products, including toothpaste, mouthwash, oral sprays and dental powder. The company also offers toothpaste specially designed for seniors.
Party Members Work Together to Provide Caring Volunteer Services
In addition to the health talk, dentists from Azalli Dental Clinic offered basic oral examinations to seniors who wished to take part. They checked gum health, missing or damaged teeth, and denture fit. They also provided personalized advice on daily oral care.
At the same time, Party members from both branches worked together to support the event. They helped seniors queue and find seats, kept the venue organized, assisted those with limited mobility, distributed tissues and disposable examination supplies, and recorded basic examination information. They also offered comfort and encouragement to the elderly throughout the activity.
The event was a practical example of cooperation between the two Party branches and a meaningful volunteer service for the elderly community. It brought oral health knowledge and festive warmth to the residents of Wuxin Nursing Home while strengthening ties between the two branches.
Following the event, Party member teachers from Longwen District No. 2 Kindergarten will organize classroom activities to teach children about respecting and caring for the elderly. Through stories about respecting older people, simple oral care tips and toothbrushing rhymes, they will encourage children to develop good oral hygiene habits and show more care for their elderly family members.
Looking ahead, the Azalli Party Branch will continue to work closely with the Party Branch of Longwen District No. 2 Kindergarten. By making use of its oral health education resources, Azalli will take part in more volunteer activities at nursing homes and in local communities, helping make these joint initiatives a regular part of their cooperation.
